Dear friends.
It was great to hear from so many from our last newletter.  It is encouraging to hear how you are doing and what the Lord is doing in your lives, your struggles and victories - they all matter!
Thank you for being ‘connected’ to what the Lord is doing through our lives here in France.  


 





We are learning day by day to ‘abide in Him’, to trust and obey without delay, to be surrendered in connection to the Holy Spirit.  
In John 15:4 Jesus is telling us to abide, remain, stay, linger in Him’.  Such an invitation of deep intimacy and relationship on a level that few choose to enter. He describes himself as ‘the vine’ and His disciples as the branches.  Without connection to the vine, a branch cannot bear fruit.  If that branch has no fruit, it has no purpose on the vine.
A vine produces after its own kind. Its seed will create more vines and its fruit will again produce not only food but also seed to sow.  So our lives are not only to bear fruit, but seed that multiplies. Seed for our bread and seed to sow.
What we behold, we become.  What we become, we will reproduce.  What we are connected to, we will replicate. As you abide in Christ your seed will be of His kind, of His nature.

 Wandering in town a few weeks ago, I was gazing longingly at a few beautiful standard lamps.  They were beautiful and would match my colour scheme perfectly.  Without a connection to Power it is only a pretty lamp standing in a corner gathering dust. For it to have purpose it needed connection.
The lamp was not only created for beauty but to change atmospheres and enable light to shine on all around it.  The lamp is created with purpose.
Matthew 5:14 ‘YOU are the light of the world’ The light of a lamp was never designed to be hidden.  You were created, formed  and purposed to shine, with glorious dynamic power to shift atmospheres around you. When you truly grasp the truth of who you are and the dynamite power of God in you, you become an unstoppable force.  
You may say,  ‘but who am I?  You don’t know my background or my history?’  Grasp this truth - ‘if ANYONE (thats you) is in Christ, the new cretion has come.  The old has gone the new is here!’ 2 cor 5:17.   “He died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died for them and was raised” V15

‘You cannot give what you have not received’  Jens Garnfeldt. (Fathers & Sons of Faith)  This statement has marked my life!
When you are connected to the Holy Spirit, He flows through you.  When you are connected to the source of Power, Power is what flows FROM you.
It’s also the same power that brings you through those hard places.  When the Spirit took Jesus to the desert after His baptism, He came out of that place in the POWER of the Holy Ghost.  If you are being pressed on all sides, know this, the same Holy Spirit will bring you through into the place of victory.   It’s the ‘tests’ that release the ‘testimony’.  When I am being ‘squeezed’ it’s usually the time when I self examine to see ‘what am I producing in my life right now, right in the midst of this storm.  What do I produce when under pressure?  Do I still shine?

 
Ministry: We have been blessed to minister in various places over the past months. This has been both in person, and online teaching schools, bringing the word of the Lord. Being the lamps that shine the nature of Christ to raise up disciples.  Our calling is to raise sons and daughters who carry the fire of God to this generation and beyond.  God always chooses vessels to carry His Presence.  May we reproduce the good fruit of the vine and re-present Him well - this One whom we love.


Personally:
We are doing really well.   Andy has had 2 cancers removed from his head and is healing much quicker than first expected.  He is having some sessions of radiotherapy to ensure no return.  He is in great spirits and recovering so well.  Thank you all for your prayers and support.  Our God is an AWESOME God.
Please pray that we get Andy’s social security number and medical card through really quickly as they lost his first two applications.  We need this to help cover medical costs incurred.
